After his Economics studies, Guus started his career in finance and spend 1,5 years abroad. He started at the family firm in 2003. In 2009, he became the Managing Director of what is now known as VP Capital, a single-family office driven by impact. With a team of impact and investment professionals, he transformed the family business into an impact-first, diversified investment group focussing on biodiversity, climate, and social equality. Currently, he serves as a board member at Batenburg Techniek, Mediahuis and VP Textile.
