Antonio Cherubini (34) grew up in Zurich and is member of two entrepreneurial families from Padova (Italy) within the sector of biochemicals and packaging. He studied mechanical engineering at ETH Zurich. After his studies, Antonio started his career at BCG as a consultant. During this time, he first invested in WeatherTech, a startup enhancing rainfalls, and then joined the company as Director New Markets working especially in Jordan.

Six years ago, he changed his career path towards Private Equity focusing on SMEs in Germany, Switzerland, and Austria. In his current role as Director at Kapital 1852, Antonio selects, analyzes, and negotiates the acquisition of hidden champions and then supports the management of the companies in developing and implementing new strategies to fuel growth. In 2023, he became a minority shareholder of eepos, a company producing aluminum cranes as well as media supply systems and supports its management as a senior advisor.
